Talk:Thirty Years' War outside Europe

recent deletions

the recent deletion of the infobox are destructive, the infobox is the first thing you see when you get into the page and is the best thing to get quick info Cerealisasoupforsure (talk) 00:10, 31 December 2025 (UTC)

I removed the infobox because, in its current form, appears to go beyond WP:INFOBOXPURPOSE by including extensive detail that supplants rather than summarizes the article. Other issues I've noticed include the longer date range and the number of minor belligerents which raises WP:SYNTH and WP:WEIGHT concerns.

I agree with Fróis.

The infobox is an utter mess, filled with belligerents that had little to nothing to do with the thirty years' war. Tinkaer1991 (talk) 12:49, 3 July 2026 (UTC)
