Taped at the CIBC Theater in Chicago, Bill Maher: Is Anyone Else Seeing This? is an unflinching and honest showcase by a comedian unafraid to call out extremes… No matter where they come from.”

The Real Time host will tape the special in front of a live audience at the CIBC Theater in Chicago, IL.
“I almost called this special ‘You Won’t Feel Safe’, because if you’re purely a team player in American politics, you won’t,” Maher said. “This one is for the 80% of Americans who want to see crazy called out no matter where it comes from. And the last twenty minutes on my sex life, that’s for everybody.”
Maher headlined his first special on HBO in 1989 and has starred in 12 solo specials for the network to date including, Bill Maher: Be More Cynical (2000), I’m Swiss (2005), Bill Maher … But I’m Not Wrong (2010), Bill Maher: Live from Oklahoma (2018), and his most recent, #Adulting (2022). His weekly HBO series, Real Time with Bill Maher, is currently in its landmark 22nd season. First on Politically Incorrect and for more than twenty years on Real Time, Maher has earned 41 Emmy nominations over the course of his career.

I love Bill. I don’t always agree with him but he is open minded and fair. I was lucky enough to see him in person. It was amazing. We were right up front. I am excited to see his new special, he always brings me joy, even if I don’t agree.
I see Trump ran three times. Two times he beat a female candidate and once he lost to a male. I’m not drawing any conclusions just noting the facts.
He cheated all three times. Two times he won & the other, he claimed the other side cheated. That’s what he did regardless of what gender opposed him.
I think the point of the comment was to mimic Bill Maher’s comedy, but maybe Bill wouldn’t still be around if people like you didn’t trigger that easy.
Maybe because he knows a females’ weak sides better than males’?

I gave up on Bill Maher over his anti-vaccine views, not for being wrong, but for not being ill-informed. He had a staff, and presumably he could have had someone do the research. The obvious contrast is John Oliver, whose show is meticulously researched.
In the 90’s when there was no internet, Bill Maher’s show was a place to find original opinions, and that had value. Now, we’re inundated with opinions, and we need more respect for facts.
It didn’t surprise me that he moved to the right after Biden was elected. Contrariness is a big part of his shtick. He stands for nothing, and that’s not acceptable any more. The stakes are too high.
The only time he trashes liberal ideas are when they are bad ideas! Why do you think the country voted for Trump and he won the popular vote?
