Facebook is one of the largest social networking websites in the world. It was founded in 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg, and became very popular in 2006. Mark Zuckerberg was a university student at the time, and eventually became a billionaire because of Facebook.
On Facebook, a person can register an account, create groups and communities, and post or send messages to their friends. To register as a user on Facebook, one must use their email. A user must be at least 13 years old to register.

The site uses blue as its signature colors as Mark Zuckerberg is red-green colorblind. He says that "blue is the richest color for me—I can see all of blue." The website was built by PHP and C++.
