@shawarden: it requires whatever versions of boost and ffmpeg were installed at the time the package was compiled. If it doesn't launch anymore, just recompile it.

Requires outdated versions of libboost, libavcodec and libavutil...
Linking them to the updated...
...does not resolve...

I seem to reliably get an error when building this, despite using a chroot:
Not really sure what is wrong considering how others are claiming that it seems to work in chroot.

@gmeunier - I believe it was installed automatically when I built this the first time. I did try reinstalling the package to see if that would do anything, and that was before I sent the original comment. No dice, sadly.
I have searched for the cmake file, and it is there, which is why I think it’s a PKGBUILD issue. (Probably needs pointing in the right direction, even if it’s for redundancy.)

That's weird, it works in a clean chroot (with
multilib-buildfrom thedevtoolspackage) so I assumed no dependency is missing. Did you try manually installing thenlohmann-jsonpackage?HUNT3R.me commented on 2026-08-23 17:35 (UTC) (edited on 2026-08-23 17:42 (UTC) by HUNT3R.me)
Possibly more of a problem with the
nlohmann-jsonpackage itself, or an error in the PKGBUILD, but either way I think it's worth mentioning this error happening when I try to build the package for this specifically.Edit: now that I think about it it's probably something missing in the PKGBUILD.

it does not find
libavcodec.so.62after rebuilding for me. Looks like there still is an issue with the ffmpeg dependency.:/usr/bin/wivrn-server: error while loading shared libraries: libavcodec.so.62: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directoryEDIT: nvm. I was stupid. Clearing package cache and rebuilding fixed it

It only builds for me when setting
CUDAToolkit_ROOT=/opt/cuda/before running makepkg. I thinkffmpeg-cudaneeds it or something.gmeunier commented on 2025-12-20 11:52 (UTC)
I've changed the dependencies, it should not break when updating now
