I had nordvpn-gui-bin installed, then uninstalled it and installed this package when added to chaotic-aur. nordvpn-gui-bin's .desktop file has a line for the mime type, and so does the source this package is built from, here. The mime type is missing from this package's included .desktop file, which causes the tray icon not to be able to open the app from its dropdown menu.
Edit: is there any reason not to prefer the .desktop file included in the source?

@xiota, ok i think i got all of your requests there. The only thing I don't fully agree with is removing the install script. I agree that it is primarily the user's responsibility; however, there have been issues in the past with breaking changes when the daemon for nordvpn is not updated and/or is not restarted. Nevertheless, I have removed it for now, and we'll see if the issues arise in the future again.

EDIT: The only problem is that the fvm folder is created in the home directory and not in var/tmp like the other folders from aur.

This package no longer uses flutter from the AUR. It uses fvm, which installs the needed flutter version directly within the pkgbuild directory, allowing for cleanup afterwards by cleaning your AUR helper's cache.
