@schaerf_o I've confirmed mpv is an unlinked runtime depends. However, this package builds in clean chroot with existing compiler flags. What error are you seeing? Are you running vanilla Arch with standard clang?

schaerf_o commented on 2026-10-06 07:28 (UTC)

Build failed for me, I had to replace -Wno-error=unused-but-set-global with -Wno-error=unused-but-set-variable.

Also, I had to install the mpv package for FluffyChat to work, so that seems to be missing from the dependencies.

Thanks. There was a problem with the update server. Don't know cause. I'll double check packages this weekend. Please flag if you find more.

FYI, there is a mismatch between the .SRCINFO version and the PKGBUILD one. Your latest commit only updated .SRCINFO without PKGBUILD, so we end up with an uninstallable 2.9.5-1 version.

@thoughtfuldragon Requires rust nightly toolchain to build.

thoughtfuldragon commented on 2026-06-06 23:24 (UTC)

Why is rustup a requirement instead of rust?

Just a headsup: since v2.0.0 Fluffychat does not rely on libolm anymore, it uses Vodozemac instead. Perhaps you want to update the dependencies.

Also, on GNOME/Wayland I also have the assertion failure since a while ago, and using GTK_CSD equal to 0 or 1 makes no difference.

Try to install noto-color-emoji-fontconfig, if you have issue with colorless emojis.
