gcc-libs is deprecated and has been converted into a metapackage. It should no longer be used directly; instead, depend on the specific libraries it previously provided. See: https://archlinux.org/todo/gcc-libs-deprecation/
Based on ldd output and ownership of the referenced libraries, the correct dependencies are: libgcc, libstdc++.

Launchpad webpage says that the license is GNU GPL v3 but the one in bzr repo looks like MIT license... But it does not seem like BSD.
