I have the same: downgraded to 0.14.1 and filed a bug report -> https://github.com/AppFlowy-IO/AppFlowy/issues/9011
They say it is fixed, so now we have to wait for the next release.

After the last update I encountered the following error:
I tried to start it again by setting manually some env variables:
env GDK_BACKEND=x11 EGL_PLATFORM=x11 AppFlowybut I still get the same error.I downloaded the AppImage and it has the same issue. Did they change some of the embedded libraries? Is anyone else having this issue?

The upstream release should be stable now, package builds and I am able to start the app without issues.
@diomedes: my pleasure :)

Hey @mckk, thanks for the hard work! :) No problem in waiting. It must be frustrating dealing with all this inconsistency.

Updated to 0.12.1, the deb contained a xz compressed tar again, so reverted that change. But now an issue with
libmpv. Will have a look again tomorrow to try to fix that. And also reach out to AppFlowy team to ask for clarity on release strategyFor the people reading this that are still on 0.11.x, please wait before upgrading until this is fixed.

Thanks for the comments! Some upstream packaging changes did indeed break the PKGBUILD:
xztozstcompression in the deb package -> changed the untar command to use zst compression and added zstd as a dependency to be sure it will work.DS_Storefile in the package -> Added a clean-up for stray dot-filesI will add you (back) as a maintainer tee :-)

I had the same problem as below, but now there is a new problem:
I can also co-maintain this to keep it updated.

I have the same problem as @participante. After getting the error, the content of the folder is:
Seems a discrepancy of file extensions? (

@mckk I solved the problem by removing AppFlowy's working directory and then recreating it by logging in again.
