JME and Jeremy Corbyn teamed up on Snapchat to discuss the upcoming election.
The grime MC JME and labour leader Jeremy Corbyn met up this week to discuss music, education and politics in the run up to the snap election taking place on June 8.
The Boy Better Know co-founder took over Corbyn’s Snapchat account where he urged young people to register.
He said: ‘Hi, it’s JME, Boy Better Know. I’m on Jeremy’s Snapchat to make sure you register to vote.’
on Corbyn’s Snapchat:
“I’m Jme.”
“And I’m Jer-e-my.”

JME also took to Twitter to post a photo of him and Corbyn with a caption that read:
‘I met @JeremyCorbyn today, and explained why bare of us don’t vote. I forgot to ask for a pic, so here’s one I borrowed (sic)’

Corbyn also posted to his own Twitter account, reiterating how important it is to vote with the same image, but also throwing in a cheeky selfie of him and the star in another post, too.
The post read: ‘Labour will deliver #ForTheMany, not the few. So make sure you register to vote’

This isn’t the first time the pair have been linked either. Corbyn thanked JME for his support on Twitter just last month when the musician took to the social media site to show support.
The tweet read: ‘If you want to vote for Corbyn’ before attaching a link to the GOV.UK site for people to sign up to vote.’
The tweet got up to over 2,000 retweets and 4,000 likes in record time, and the politician showed his gratitude towards his gesture.
If you want to vote Corbyn.
Step 1: Register https://t.co/OOXc9Uih0P
Step 2: vote Corbyn.
Step 3: press Up, X, Y, B, A
Step 4: press start— Jme (@JmeBBK) April 23, 2017
The politician replied: ‘Thanks for the support @jmeBBK – if you haven’t already please do what he says and register to vote.’
We wonder if Jeremy plans to feature on any of JME’s upcoming tracks in the future… we quite like the sounds of J Cizzle to be fair.
Jme has also been sharing posts by fellow artists and Corbyn supporters including Novelist, Akala and AJ Tracey, too.
